Naturally, 24-7 Plumbing won’t recommend you replace a main water line if repair is feasible and the more economical alternative. When making repairs, we’ll generally opt for trenchless water line repair. Trenchless means we don’t dig up the existing water line. That reduces cost and disruption for homes and commercial establishments. Instead, we use a pneumatic bladder to insert a flexible, resin-coated liner inside the pipe. When it hardens in place and the resin is cured, the liner patches holes and cracks, and that stops any leaking. Sadly, sometimes repair won’t yield the desired results, and then main water line replacement is the only answer.
