A water softener system tames our Westfield, Indiana hard water. Hard water flows into a resin tank where resin beads collect the minerals it contains. When the beads have accumulated all the minerals they can handle, the system recharges with salt water from the brine tank. The salt water cleans the minerals off the beads and is then flushed away.
